What the game is about…

Space Codyssey is a board game set in space. It works together with an app for smart devices and uses Augmented Reality and Digital Storytelling so that players learn the basic algorithmic structures. |
| Each player has a spaceship (game piece) and moves around the board according to the number rolled on the digital die. Every space on the board has a colour that matches an activity. Depending on the colour of the space, the player takes the matching QR card and places it on the scanning spot. |

Using Augmented Reality, the app shows on the board the mission the player has to complete. The mission is complete when the digital spaceship reaches the fuel. The spaceship is moved with the command tiles in the app’s programming area. |
| If the player programs correctly, they win the fuel and may roll the die to move on their next turn. If not, they stay on the same space and, on their next turn, pick a new card, place it and try to solve it. |  |

On the red spaces of the board, a robot helps the player debug their code and gives programming tips. |
